Every successful Scout Group only works with the help of parents, family and friends to deliver an exciting, enjoyable and excellent programme of activities and events. Without this help groups have been known to close.

As I am sure everyone of you will understand that we must ensure the safety of each and every young person within the Scout Group and every person who would like to support us even just on an Occasional event will need to understand the role they would be taking on and complete a DBS which can be done with the help of the GSL.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
